Knit this hat and mitt set using our vintage graph-style pattern. Matching Raccoon Jacket is sold separately. The child who loves animals and wildlife will love wearing it! This original Raccoon design was created in the 1960s and was made with Mary Maxim Starlette yarn, which included 280 yards per 4-oz skein. Experience the endless possibilities of creating this unique hat and mitts pattern with the wide range of worsted-weight yarns available today, including Starlette! Please note that yardage may differ. Materials List All Sizes: MC Lt Tan (4 oz), CC1 Brown (70 yds), CC2 Med Tan (35 yds), CC3 White (35 Yds), CC4 Black (35 Yds), knitting needles size U.S. 5 (3.75 mm) and 7 (4.50 mm). Fits children sizes 4-8—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, stockinette stitch, repeat, decrease, increase, slip.
