Originally crafted with Mary Maxim Double Knitting yarn—a sport‑weight fiber offering about 170 yards per 2 oz skein at the time—this project pairs wonderfully with our current DK sport yarns. I have been using Patons yarn for many years. Originally my favourite was Patons Decor. It was discontinued. I tried several yarns before settling on Patons Canadiana as a replacement. It is easy to crochet with and I am happy with how my projects (mostly afghans) look and feel when completed. The great colour range is an added bonus.
