Knit the always-flattering Chanel Jacket with our vintage pattern. Looks great with a dress, slacks or, your favorite jeans! Quick to knit, from the top down. The original yarn used was Mary Maxim's Knitting Worsted, providing approximately 240 yards on a 4 oz skein at the time. But now, with a wide variety of worsted yarns to choose from, you can customize this project to suit your style or event. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. Transform this jacket into a fabulous showstopper with Mary Maxim Sparkle! Add a touch of sparkle for a glamorous and dazzling look. For a size 32-34 you need U.S. sizes 5 (3.75 mm), and 8 (5 mm), needles, for sizes 36-38-40, you'll need needles sizes 3 (3.25 mm) & 8 (5 mm). Fits sizes 32-34-36-38-40—Intermediate knit.

Loved making this, the pattern takes a few rows to get use to but once you do you just fly along. Found a couple small mistakes on the pattern, but if you follow the color blockings it wont be an issue.

Easy and just enough wire to double through and reinforce at end. Pinching wire at tips of star makes points better.
