Create this jean jacket using our vintage pattern. The original yarn, Mary Maxim Starlette Orlon, a worsted weight offered 140 yards on a 2 oz skein originally. But now, with a larger variety of worsted-weight yarns to choose from, including the ever-popular Mary Maxim Starlette, you can customize this project to match your unique style. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. Materials List: Sz 32-34 (16 oz), Sz 36-38 (20 oz). Also needed are: U.S. sizes 9 (5.5 mm) knitting needles and F-5 (3.75 mm) crochet hook to begin! Fits sizes 32-34-36-38—Intermediate knit.

This was my first project using this yarn. After 60 years of knitting and crocheting, this yarn is definitely one of my favourites. My afghan finished up beautifully. It looks amazing, feels soft and warm and every stitch is perfect. No splitting of the strands and overall nice quality. My afghan is perfect!! I’ll use it more.

fabulous yarn. I am almost done my cardigan, can't wait to see how it washes up. I hate when yarn has a knot joining pieces in the middle of the ball especially when I buy the gigantic ball in order to avoid extra joining but I guess that cannot be completely avoided. great purchase
