Knit a rustic, nature‑inspired cardigan featuring ducks in the wild using our exclusive graph‑style pattern. This timeless design is perfect for the wildlife enthusiast in your life, blending classic craftsmanship with the beauty of the outdoors. The front showcases a flying duck on each side, complemented by reeds along the bottom and practical pockets for added comfort and style. The result is a warm, distinctive cardigan that celebrates the serenity of nature in every stitch.
Designed initially using Premier Polar worsted weight yarn, which provided about 280 yds per 4 oz skein at the time. Discover a wide range of worsted yarns, including Mary Maxim Starlette, for this project! Materials List: Size 38 MC (10 skeins), Size 40-42 (11 skeins). Size 44 (12 skeins). All Sizes: CC Ducks and Reeds (1 skein each color), CC Duck Heads Blue (.5 skein), CC Duck Feet & Beaks (.5 skein), knitting needle sizes U.S. 6 (4.25 mm) and 9 (5.50 mm). Fits sizes 38-40-42-44—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, cast on, cast off, increase, decrease, repeat, stockinette stitch, colored pattern knitting method, fair isle knitting.
