Telling the time is both easy and entertaining with this functioning Cuckoo Clock. With a woodland cottage design and recognizable elements from fairy tales, this DIY puzzle clock is a feast for the eyes and the imagination.
The Cuckoo Clock comes straight out of a storybook to give you accurate time, playful charm, and the beauty of traditional German woodworking. It's a miniature woodland cottage hidden in an enchanted forest with a spinning waterwheel, wooden fences, and greenery. The clock features an hourly chiming cuckoo bird, a crescent-shaped pendulum, a thatched roof, and an old-school pull light switch. When the hourly chime is turned on at the hidden stair switch, the cheerful bird pops out of the window every hour, flaps its wings, and sings a sweet little tune. Playful elements include touches of playing card suits on the roof and clock face.
This 435-piece model takes about 12 hours to assemble. Its finished size is 13 x 8 x 6.5". The lights and sound are powered either by a Type-C cable or conventional batteries, giving you flexible options. Intermediate skill level. Age 14+.
