Craft this charming capelet with our classic vintage pattern. Ideal for all seasons, it offers a flattering silhouette. Enjoy knitting the simple collar, belt, and trim with seed stitch for a delightful finish. Originally knit with Mary Maxim Artek Orlon Wintuk, bulky weight yarn that offered 130 yds per 3 oz skein at the time. We suggest Premier Basix Chunky for this project, but you can view all bulky yarns here. Keep in mind, yardages will vary. Materials List: All Sizes: 8 skeins, knitting needles size U.S. 10 (6 mm), and 10.5 (6.50 mm). Sized for adults—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, stocking stitch, repeat, decrease, increase, cast on, cast off.
