Create your own Cable Pill Box hat with our easy-to-follow knitting pattern. This vintage design was crafted using Mary Maxim's luxurious Cloudspun yarn, which came in 2 oz skeins with approximately 80 yards at the time. With a variety of bulky yarns to choose from, there are endless possibilities when using this pattern. Suggested knitting needles needed is U.S. size 6 (4 mm).

I love the way this looks! The yarn sometimes feels a bit "waxy" (for want of a better word) but otherwise it is coming together very nicely.
I have made this for my granddaughter. It is beautiful and once you get the hang of the pattern, fairly easy. I made a pillow to match. The blanket, I crocheted a trim around the blanket, one row of each colour. Finished it off beautifully!
