Create this extraordinary afghan with this pattern and Mary Maxim Worsted Weight yarn. The original project called for Mary Maxim Starlette, a worsted-weight yarn that included 180 yards per 3.5 oz skein. Shop our extensive lines of worsted yarns, including Starlette; however, please note the colors and yardage may have changed. Materials List: MC Natural (13 skeins), Med Green (2 skeins), Black (1 skein), Dk Brown (70 Yds), Lt Brown, Soft Yellow, Dk Yellow, Lt Blue, Med Blue, Turquoise, Lavender, Baby Pink, Lt Pink, and Dk Pink (35 yds each). The finished masterpiece measures 50 x 60" (127 x 152.5 cm) and requires a U.S size J-10 (15 cm) crochet hook. Don't wait - get started today!

I just finished knitting a blanket with this yarn and I just loved it. However, at one point it does get very heavy.

I really like Mary Maxim Mellowspun D K yarn.It is soft and very easy to crochet with.The only think is ,that not all the colours have the same thickness which gives me different dimensions for my granny squares, depending on on the colours I used. For example if I used “Toasted Almond” colour for a square and for another one I used “Spruce”, I will get two granny squares of two different dimensions, in spite of the exact same pattern.If this could be improved will be awesome.
