Use our vintage pattern to knit the Houndstooth cape. Fair Isle knitting is easy to do with our graph-style pattern. Seed stitch trims the collar, button bands, and armhole slits. Originally knit with Mary Maxim Starlette Orlon Wintuk worsted-weight yarn with 280 yards per skein. Mary Maxim Starlette is our best-selling house yarn, and you can still purchase it today! One size—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, repeat, decrease, cast on, cast off, stockinette stitch.

this yarn is so nice and soft and the colour is great. I don't love when there are several knots joining yarn in one ball but other than that I really like this yarn :)
It’s bigger than I thought the medium was, actually checked to make sure it was not the large one lol. Really like the 2 loose boards to hold the extra puzzle pieces. It closes up completely so no pieces can fall out when it’s not in use. I have been looking at this for a couple of years, very happy I finally purchased it!
I haven’t made any of the patterns I bought but I will soon.
