Originally designed with Mary Maxim Heirloom—a DK sport‑weight yarn celebrated for its soft drape and the refined look of fine crochet cotton—each 2 oz skein offered 170 yards at the time of creation. Explore our extensive selection of sport‑weight yarns to find the perfect shade and tone to complement your wardrobe. Whether you prefer soft neutrals or bold, expressive hues, you can craft a stunning cover‑up that elevates any outfit. Keep in mind that yardage varies between brands, so be sure to check your labels as you plan your project. Materials List: 14 oz, and crochet hooks size U.S. G/6 (4.25 mm) and 7 (4.50 mm). Shawl measures approx. 66" (167.5 cm) x 30" (76 cm), before adding ruffle. Note: Pattern PDL1655 Cluster Stitch Shawl pattern sold separately.
Stitch Requirements: Chain, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, decrease, increase, repeat, slip stitch, through the back loop.

I generally prefer natural fibres to knit with but sometimes, as in the case with some family members, they can’t be used. This Premier Anti Pilling Bamboo is far superior to competing brands. I was pleasantly surprised by how soft it feels to the hands and how beautifully the finished jacket drapes.My only negative is the color palette. I love the two colours I chose (lobster blue & the soft earl grey) but I’m not impressed with the rest…a washed out selection. The grey has a gorgeous pearly quality seldom found in greys. If some nicer colours are introduced this will be my go-to chunky yarn every time!
