Knit this pullover for guys or girls with our vintage pattern. This pattern offers both round-neck or v-neck options, along with a pretty stitch pattern for added interest. This cozy number was designed using Mary Maxim Starlette or Starmist ("frosty look") worsted-weight yarns, which offered 140 yds per 2 oz skein at the time. Shop our exciting selections of worsted yarns for the perfect shade to suit the outfit or the occasion. Keep in mind that yardages can vary. Fits youth sizes 8, 10, 12, 14—Intermediate knit.

This sweater is a fun knit and a bit challenging when doing the colourwork in Intarsia. I really enjoyed the process and I'm especially happy to get it as a kit with the pattern from Mary Maxim. The cardigan will be very warm to wear on cold days. The pattern is easy to follow and the yarn knits up quickly. FYI there is a very popular Facebook Group for Support for knitters making this sweater. It's called Project Hail Mary Fox Sweater Knitting Support. Many people who have never knit before have made this cardigan and they can ask as many questions as they like on the FB group. Thanks Mary Maxim for supporting us knitters and bringing this kit out in a superwash wool (we're so excited) and also just recently a crochet kit in very large sizes (people are swooning!).
