Knit this darling dress using our vintage pattern. Have fun choosing the colors she loves to make it even more special. Originally stitched with Mary Maxim Mellowspun or Mellowmist (with its soft, frosted finish), both sport‑weight yarns offering 210 yards per 2 oz skein. Today you’ll find a fantastic selection of sport‑weight yarns in fresh, trending colors, perfect for giving this classic design a playful, modern twist. Just remember to check yardage, as it can vary from brand to brand. Fits children 1-2-4-6 years—Intermediate knit. Boy's pullover PDL8102 available separately.

This sweater is a fun knit and a bit challenging when doing the colourwork in Intarsia. I really enjoyed the process and I'm especially happy to get it as a kit with the pattern from Mary Maxim. The cardigan will be very warm to wear on cold days. The pattern is easy to follow and the yarn knits up quickly. FYI there is a very popular Facebook Group for Support for knitters making this sweater. It's called Project Hail Mary Fox Sweater Knitting Support. Many people who have never knit before have made this cardigan and they can ask as many questions as they like on the FB group. Thanks Mary Maxim for supporting us knitters and bringing this kit out in a superwash wool (we're so excited) and also just recently a crochet kit in very large sizes (people are swooning!).
