Originally knit with Mary Maxim Thick 'N Thin yarn, which offered a 2 oz skein at the time and was considered a bulky yarn. With a variety of bulky yarns to choose from today, there are endless possibilities when using this pattern. Materials List Ladies" Sz 14 (9 skeins), Sz 16-18 (10 skeins). Materials List Men's: Sz 36-38 (10 skeins), Sz 38-40 (11 skeins), Sz 40-42 (12 skeins), knitting needles size U.S. 10 (6 mm), and 13 (9 mm). Fits Ladies 14-16-18, Men's 36-38-40-42—Intermediate knit.

Love it so much I got another one!
Absolutely LOVE Bernat Blanket Yarn. It’s super soft and is simple to wash. It’s the only yarn I use when making blankets to give for the senior citizens through a group called ‘Smiles for Seniors’. I love Mary Maxim for the fabulous prices on the yarn. I stock up when I see it on sale as each blanket takes a minimum of 5 large skeins. Many thanks for continuing to carry it.
