The jumbo weight comes in a generously sized ball so each one goes a long, long way. Use Bernat Blanket Extra to stitch up washable, squishable, comfortable projects that are done before you know it. 100% polyester. Machine wash & dry. 97 yds (87 m) per 10.5 oz (300 g) ball. Suggest gauge: 5 sts & 7 rows 4" (10 cm) on size 12.75 mm needles. Yarn weight: 7-Jumbo.

fabulous yarn. I am almost done my cardigan, can't wait to see how it washes up. I hate when yarn has a knot joining pieces in the middle of the ball especially when I buy the gigantic ball in order to avoid extra joining but I guess that cannot be completely avoided. great purchase

This yard was a delight to work with, knit up beautifully and quickly. It was not the equivalent of a weighted blanket as originally described but was perfectHowever, I needed to launder it the other day and here is where the disappointment came in.
Many of the strands of yarn, not the cut and tied pieces, basically shredded during the extra gentle cycle, leaving only the fine thread and none of the fluff. I was devastated to see this. I am still pondering how I can repair this on my lovely extra big afghan.
My afghan is too big to take apart and repair .
