See our selection of bulky yarn options, including the fabulous Mary Maxim Titan with 80 yds per skein! Perfect for this project! Materials List: Mary Maxim Titan Sz 38-40 MC (8 skeins), Sz 42-44 MC (9 skeins). All sizes: CC1 & CC2 (2 skeins each). Also requires knitting needles size 7 (4.50 mm) and 10 (6 mm), and one set of double point sz 6 (4.25 mm) for collar. Fits sizes 38-40-42-44—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, repeat, increase, decrease, and colour changes using Fair Isle and coloured pattern knitting methods.

I use this yarn to make children’s, women’s and men’s socks for the local Foodbank. I choose this yarn as it is nice to work with and it is easy to wash and dry. The people who run the Foodbank are very appreciative of the socks.
I also give some of the socks to the local elementary school. The teacher has told me that the children like and ask for the soft, warm socks.
