With this pattern, you can knit an amazing sweater for yourself or that special person who loves horses! Features raglan sleeves and optional shawl, windbreaker, or flat collar, button or zipper front. You will be the envy of your equine friends when you wear this! Originally knit with Mary Maxim Titan yarn, which had 80 yards per 3-ounce skein at the time. With a wide variety of bulky yarns available today, including Mary Maxim Titan, there are endless possibilities when using this pattern. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. Materials List: MC Sz 44-46 (15 skeins), Sz 48-50 (17 skeins). All Sizes: CC1 Med Grey, CC2 Dk Grey, CC3 Black (1 skein each). Requires knitting needles size U.S. 6 (4.25 mm), and 9 (5.50 mm). Fits sizes 44-46-48-50—Intermediate knit. Adult sizes 32-36, Adult sizes 38-44, and Child's Horse Head cardigans sold separately.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, cast on, cast off, increase, decrease, repeat, stockinette stitch, coloured pattern knitting method, fair isle knitting.
