It was crafted for Mary Maxim Mellowspun sport‑weight yarn, which offered 210 yards per 2 oz skein at the time, and works wonderfully with the sport‑weight yarns we carry today, including Mary Maxim Mellowspun. Yardage may differ depending on your choice. Sized for 32–34–36–38 and ideal for intermediate knitters, this pattern makes a beautiful addition to any handmade wardrobe.
Materials list for all sizes: Sport-weight yarn 16 oz (454 gm)
Knitting needles: size U.S. 6 (4.25 mm) and 8 (5 mm).
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, stockinette stitch, repeat, decrease, increase, slip.

I find this yarn easy to work with. It is lovely and soft especially for a baby. The bunting bag I am knitting is going to be lovely when it is finished. I could send a picture when I’ve finished the bunting bag if you would like.
This yarn is very soft and easy to work with. It’s perfect for making snuggly toys. I’ve used a variety of different hooks sizes with this wool making little toys and they all have turned out beautifully.
