Description
Create a precious keepsake with this charming crochet pattern for a delicate lace christening gown. Featuring a onesie bottom attached inside. Dress is worked from the bodice down to the body in rows and rounds. The lace skirt is worked directly onto the bodice after the body is completed. Button closure at shoulder. Created using Premier Afternoon Cotton, a #3 sport-weight, mercerized cotton that provided 136 yds per 1.75 oz skein. Materials List: Sizes 0-6 mos (6-12 mos, 12-18 mos, 18-24 mos) requires 5(6, 7, 8) balls, and crochet hook size U.S. D/3 (3.25 mm). Also requires 2-10" lengths of 1/4" elastic, 4 (5, 5, 5)- 1/4" buttons, needle, and thread to sew on buttons and elastic. Fits baby sizes 6-12 months—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, increase, decrease, working in 3rd loop of half double crochet, working in rounds, foundation single crochet, V-stitch.
