Originally knit using Mary Maxim Knitting Worsted, a worsted-weight yarn that offered 260 yards on a 4 oz skein at the time, With a variety of worsted-weight yarns to choose from today, there are endless possibilities when using this pattern. It requires knitting needles size U.S. 6 (4 mm), 8 (5 mm), and cable needle.
