Use this pattern to knit a lovely gored style skirt with a lovely lacy vest. Designed using Mary Maxim Mellowspun, which provided 420 yds/4-oz skein at the time. Shop our entire selection of sport-weight yarns, including Mary Maxim Mellowspun, to find the perfect fiber for your new outfit! Keep in mind, yardages will vary. You'll need stitch markers, knitting needles size 4 (3.50 mm), 6 (4.25 mm), and 6 buttons to begin. Fits sizes 32-34-36-38—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, slip, stocking stitch, increase, decrease, repeat, slip stitch, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, through the back loop, place marker.

I love this yarn, works up great and easy to work with. I wasn’t sure there would be enough yarn for the loom hat I was making, but there was extra. The colors are beautiful and it works up thick and rich using knit and purl stitches. It’s a really warm hat for the winters here in the north. I would buy this again! I highly recommend it!
The placemarsc are Christmas giftsfor the families of my grabfchilfren, so they haven’t got them yet. I think they will really like them.

I love this yarn. I use it to make crocheted and knitted scrubbies. It's durable and fairly easy to work with...and the colours couldn't be any better for Christmas!
