Crochet this broomstick afghan using our vintage pattern. Designed using Mary Maxim Mellowspun Orlon, which provided 210 yds per 2 oz skein at that time. Discover a world of sport-weight yarns, including Mary Maxim Mellowspun! Be aware of yardage differences. Materials List: Size 46 x 60" (36 oz.), Sz 52 x 72" (40 oz), Size 60 x 80 " (44 oz), knitting needle size U.S. 50 (35 cm), and crochet hook size U.S. K/ 10.5 (6.50). Finished sizes 46 x 60" - 52 x 72" - 60 x 80"—Intermediate.
Stitch Requirements: chain, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, alternate, decrease, increase, repeat, through the back loop, work even or as set.
