Knit this afghan using our vintage pattern. This beauty will knit up quickly using a double strand of sport-weight yarn. Originally Mary Maxim Mellowspun, which had 210 yards per 2-ounce skein was used. You can find all our sport weight yarns here. Please note, that yardages may have changed. Materials List: Sz 44x 56" (32 oz), Sz 50 x 70" (40 oz), Sz 60 x 80" (44 oz). Also requires a U.S. 36" circular knitting needle size 15 (10 mm). Instructions for sizes 44 x 56", 50 x 70", 60 x 80". Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Knit, purl, slip, stocking stitch, increase, decrease, repeat, work even or as set, through the back loop, repeat, place marker.
