Description
Crochet the base of the Rose afghan in Tunisian crochet stitch, then cross-stitch the rose design on afterwards, with our exclusive pattern. Make three panels and 2 insertion strips, and assemble. Finish it off with a pretty fringe. This stunning design was created using Mary Maxim Mellowspun DK sport-weight yarn that offered 420 yds per 4 oz skein at the time. Discover an amazing selection of brands and hues in sport yarns to make this project come to life! Keep in mind that yardages can vary by brand. Finished sizes 48 x 68" (122 x 173 cms)—Intermediate crochet. Note: includes the afghan pattern only.

Main colour White
CC Old Gold, Lt Yellow, Dk Yellow, Dk Green, 70 yds each.
CC Med. Green, Dk Blue, Lt Blue, 35 yds each
Afghan hook size J/10 and crochet hook size G/6 (4.25 mm).
Stitch Requirements: Tunisian stitch, chain, double crochet.
