An irresistible sit-about that captures the magic of the holidays while providing comfort and companionship all season long. Designed by Anastasia Parkaeva. Kit includes Premier Parfait Chunky yarns, safety eyes, trims and instructions. Requires crochet hook size 3.75 mm and polyester fiberfill. Finished size: 23" tall. Intermediate Crochet.

I liked the look of this blanket enough to order three different colours. Then I realized it was a stitch I wasn’t familiar with. That set my brain back a wee bit, but I found a great tutorial by Dora Does https://doradoes.co.uk that explains the stitch in a variety of ways - video, written and photo. I work best with written and photo and now I am happily creating the first blanket.
It is working up to make an excellent winter weight baby blanket, to which I will add a sweater and hat in the same yarn.
