Description
Crochet a charming snowman basket to brighten any tabletop or space. This free downloadable pattern includes the materials list and instructions to make as shown. This cheerful little fellow is handy to have around, as he'll hold just about anything from floral sprays to covering an old pencil jar. For fun, make several scarves in various colors to dress him in! Created using Bernat Blanket yarn, a #6 bulky yarn that offers 220 yds per 10.5 oz skein. Finished size fits a 6" plant pot that is 6" tall—Easy crochet.
Materials List:
Vintage White 1 ball or 92 yds/84 m
Malachite 1 ball or 37 yds/34 m
Crochet hook size L/11 (8 mm), stitch marker, 2 small black buttons for eyes, a 10" length of black worsted yarn for the mouth, and a small piece of orange felt for the nose. Glue.
Stitch Requirements: Chain, single crochet, half double crochet, place marker, repeat, single crochet in back loop, slip stitch.
