I love this yarn for baby blankets! Soft, squishy and works up quickly. Also pretty reasonably priced, with 220 yards per ball.
The sweater pattern that I wanted to make used jewelspun aran but I was initially reluctant to purchase it because of the cost. I was checking out some alternatives but couldn't really find anything very comparable. Then I found it on Mary maxim for much less than anywhere else ( $19.99 per skein compared to $26.99 other places) and ordered it. So happy that I waited and went with the jewelspun - gorgeous colorway and beautiful quality! Well worth the extra bit of expense.
